Every year an international quiz competition based on the theme of the “Srimad Bhagavad Gita” is organized by the Shri Shri Gita Society. The event is organized during summer holidays of school children in India, wherein students actively participate in the event as a summer camping activity. Students from India and abroad energetically participate in this competition. Workshops are organized to impart Gita’s teachings to children, which help them to prepare for the quiz. Moreover, the booklets are also provided to the participants to easily learn about Gita. Workshops and booklets are very helpful for the students to prepare for the quiz.
Objective of this quiz competition is to inculcate spiritual values from Gita among students to build good character. It easily transmits Gita’s knowledge in the minds of school children. This will develop a sense of Dharma among the students and they will lead their life on the path of righteousness. Quiz help us to imbibe spiritual values among children since childhood to develop a good moral character.
