Shri Shri Gita Society has commenced “Sanskaar Shiksha Paathshala” in the holy Indian city of Varanasi. The Paathshala aims to develop the moral values in school children along with their contemporary school learning. Focus is laid to inculcate spiritual, ethical and moral values in school children since from the childhood, so that they grow up into a responsible citizen of the country. Lectures on spirituality, ethics, morality are provide to the children. Lectures are based on the themes of Indian culture and heritage, Ramayana, Srimad Bhagavad Gita, Vedas and Upanishads. Regular school subjects are also taught at the Paathshala. We aims to impart free education to the poor children of the society.
Our work is inspired by the words of Swami Vivekananda- “If the poor boy cannot come to the education, education must go to him”. We are taking the education to most neglected segment of the society, the poor kids who lives on the roads, do garbage picking, and orphan living on the streets. These children lives in misery without any goal in their life. They can’t even think of education. We strive to uplift them, we take them with us at the Paathshala and focus on their hygiene and health. Cloths are also provided to them. We educate them so that they can develop a good character in their life. Education allows them to set a goal in their life. We undertake varied range of activities at the Paathshala such as distribution of stationary, school bags, books, cloths and food to the children at Paathshala; as well outside the Paathshala like in slums and rural areas. Different competitions are also organized at the Paathshala such as singing and dancing competition, and quizzes also to boost learning among children. We also arrange art classes to instil creativity among children. Specially for the girl child, we arranges the self-defence training program, so that they can protect themselves in case of any dangerous situation.

Spirituality is fundamental for the prosperity of human beings. Though, busyness of people in this modern age has created the distance between spirituality and the people. It needs to be incorporated in the value system of a human being since from the childhood so that they become spiritually conscious person. Spiritual lessons develop moral and ethical values among children. It is the ultimate source of the salvation. Therefore, we intent to contribute to the spread of spiritual knowledge through our effort of “Sanskaar Shiksha Paathshala”. We especially focuses on poor and orphan children from slums and rural areas to illuminate their lives and turn them into a better human being.
Attainment of spiritual knowledge is the awakening of the human soul towards the divine. One who is spiritually cognizant, will always follow the path of “Dharma”, and influence other to do the same. Therefore, it is essential for everyone in this world to stay spiritually connected with the god to lead a life based on Dharma. Spiritual conscientiousness will reduce the “Aadharma” (wrong deeds) from the earth, making it a heavenly place for the humans to live. Therefore, we persistently work to spread the ambrosia wisdom of “Srimad Bhagavad Gita” for the spiritual awakening of every individual in the world.
Therefore, we are contributing to our organizations prime objective of spreading the divine knowledge of “Srimad Bhagavad Gita” through our efforts in terms of “Sanskaar Shiksha Paathshala”.
