Gita Jayanti is not merely a festival; it is a timeless celebration of divine wisdom, righteousness, and self-realization. It commemorates the sacred occasion when Lord Shri Krishna revealed the eternal message of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita to His disciple Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra, offering humanity a universal guide to duty, devotion, and purposeful living. The festival is observed every year on Mokshada Ekadashi, during the bright fortnight (Shukla Paksha) of the Hindu month of Margashirsha.
The guiding motto of our institution, “Abhyutthānam Adharmasya” (Bhagavad Gita 4.7), reflects our commitment to upholding righteousness, nurturing moral values, and inspiring character-based leadership. Rooted in the timeless teachings of the Gita, we celebrate Gita Jayanti not merely as a religious observance but as a movement for spiritual awakening, ethical living, and the welfare of society.
The celebration features a variety of spiritual and cultural activities, including Prabhat Pheri (morning devotional procession), Vedic Yajna, collective recitation of the Bhagavad Gita, devotional kirtans, Aarti, spiritual discourses, satsangs, and cultural presentations. These programs aim to inspire people of all ages to imbibe the Gita’s universal values of selfless action, discipline, equanimity, compassion, and service.

As one family, we come together to celebrate the eternal wisdom of Lord Krishna and reaffirm our commitment to building a world founded on Dharma, universal brotherhood, and the ideal of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—“The World is One Family.”
